7 TIPS TO GET AND GET READY (to) HMCA (SCHOLARSHIP)

TIPS J
I will share some tips for you to be success InsyaAllah in applying to HMCA:
1. In completed the application form you just need to be honest with yourself by not lying on that. You must believe that yourself has the qualification.
2. Convince them by making everything they ask, you answer it in detail and clear not bias. For example, they ask you about your family financial condition. So you need to explain them in detail what your parents job, stating the number of the salary, what the salary used for, etc.
3. Don’t be hesitate to ask help from your friends. Creating a video is hard for me actually, Fortunately on that moment i have friends to help me (Rava: shoot the video, Momo: edit the video) so yeah everything will be much easier.
4. Discuss with others. So if you have an idea or have no idea yet, discuss with others will give you the horizon, and open your mind. I was asking my older brother in the high school about the content of my video, we discussed and yeah idea was coming up. It actually worksJ
5. Give a memorable scene at end of the video. In your video, make them sure that you deserve this scholarship by being so sure about yourself and giving a memorable closing in the video. 6. Find out a teacher that already know you well. Why? Because one of the forms is recommendation letter from your teacher at the school. Make sure that she or he makes a good one.
6. Don’t be late in submitting all of it. Be punctual!.
7. last but not least PRAY. Nothing you can do without His permission. So don’t forget to pray and just let Him do the rest.


TIPS :) 
I will share some tips about how to get ready to attend HMCA (If you are finally being selected):
1. Get your passport ready!
2. it is a US congress but it is almost same with MUN. So if you are a new comer in MUN stuff, make urself be familiar with it by watching the video on Youtube about MUN. So you will not be that confused on the day.
3. you will be asked to choose your committee such as UNESCO, UNICEF, ASEAN, etc. They already put the issue that will be discussed in each committee, choose it based on your passion, so you will be more comfortable in discussing it later.
4. be well-prepared. Because you have this golden chance, prove them that you really want this. So before the day of HMCA, they will distribute you in what committee you are, the country you represent and also the issue that will be discussed later. In my year, there are 2 issues. Search as many as you can on google and set your position regarding each issue.
5. don’t be out of the dress code. The dress code will be western attire. It is like blazer, dress, suit, and tie, etc. You can search it on google or this link will help you. Make the outfit that you wear are comfortable or yet you will hurt yourself.

6. don't be hesitate to contact the committee of the event if you have questions linger on your mind to minimalize the misunderstand. you will have their email as they sent you the announcement letter. they were very responsive so don't worry. They are all the Harvard University undergraduate students. Most of the executive boards were senior and right now they already graduated.

The event was totally amazing, besides you can learn about US Congress, you can also have many friends. They even provided a night where we have a party with each other. It was cool.

A compact 360 pages length book that contain 25 amazing rollercoaster story behind the greatest of the great entrepreneurs in the worlds. I read this book because I never completely forget my dream to be a business woman in the future since elementary school. This book indeed gives me new knowledge and horizon because out of these 25 entrepreneurs, I only acknowledge half of them hehe.
