First Meeting with My Teammate

The tour just ended at 12 PM cause the weather was getting hotter. We just requested to go back to Pee Ohm. The exit way was quite far from our current spot. We sweated a lot (you know the smell well -__-).
As soon as after we arrived at the hotel, we moved directly to the riverside restaurant to have lunch. We ate inside rather than outside the room to cooling our body temperature. What i really like about the menu was ice cream. I was just so thrilled when finding there was ice cream on the corner of the restaurant together with other desserts.

We did not have much time because soon the orientation was about to begin. I planned to take a bath and washed my face. I knew that i looked terrible. Fast showering mode on! We wore the same ‘Batik’ that had been prepared since in Indonesia. It’s Betawi’s Batik. There were Monas and Ondel-ondel as the pattern of the Batik with red color dominantly. We weren’t late but everyone was already there. Hahaha XD
Orientation
I got in the same team with Amy (china), Qiu Hao (China), Minnie (Thailand), Sam (Thailand), Tony (Thailand), Nanaka (Japan), Nanako (Japan), Hugo (Japan), Christine (Malaysia), Andrew (Vietnam), Linh (Vietnam), and Hakim (Indonesia).  We were Team B. We shared our name cards each other at the beginning while saying ‘Hello blah blah blah’. We’re trying to fit in. Nanaka and Nanako are not twin, they even came from different regions but the name was so similar.

The host was from Japan. He was the coordinator of this event. He looked tiny but cool. The next activities were introducing ourselves to each other and choosing one person to be the leader and one person to be the sub leader. Actually i was chosen as the sub leader, while Hugo Tsunami was chosen as the leader. We also shared a little gift that we brought from our country. I got many snacks and cute things that i can’t describe from them.
the whole room
We (High school students) were in the same room with university students. High school students were in team A-E and university students were in team F-K. If i’m not mistaken hehehe. After a brief conversations with our team, they wanted ask to go on to the stage together with all team members to introduce the leader and sub leader each team.

i know you can guest which one is me
We had a little break to change our clothes to attend the opening ceremony at 6 PM in the same room. What cool about this opening ceremonies were the ambassador of each country in Thailand came to this event and also the directors of AEON Thailand and some Japan’s.

As we were waiting to 6 PM, Indonesian team gathered at riverside restaurant just to get gentle breeze. We took a lot pictures suddenly a boat caught our attention. It is Sheraton boat that had just anchored at its own dock. We had a better idea rather than waiting in here. We got into the boat (psst.. that is complement from the hotel, so it’s free). You must try once whenever you stay at Sheraton Hotel. It was a really good one, the interior of the boat was so classic and exclusive.
this is the riverside restaurant that i've told you previously

The breeze was so fine, the sky was starting to turn its color to be orange.  We really enjoyed this moment. It spent 20 minutes on boat to ride down the Chao Praya river.

At night, there was a standing party with all the delegates. There was a performance from Thailand students, speech from the Thai government, speech from AEON 1%Club Foundation. I was wondering how much money the AEON has, this event is just one of many events that AEON hold which fund is taken from its 1% revenue. It’s great amount of money.

Thai student's performance

There were 112 delegates from around Asia that gathered in Asia Youth Leaders 2016. This picture was taken with a well preparation before, so you can see that people in here were in a really good position (AEON already made the map to take this picture).
